They have a society, guild or fraternity. If you google it ( license refinished plate club of America ) you will find a list of members. I use a guy in Detroit and he does a fantastic job. He matches the colors perfectly. The list of members will have their prices also. If you have trouble finding it I will send you the names. Wayne

I'd like to know too. I have a 1928 Arizona plate I'd like to have restored.

Restore A Tag in Maryland. Shawn Mahaney and his group of experts are true artists. He restores all of Jay Leno's plates and has even been on the tonight show. He restored my Iowa plates that were so bad they were started by another company and returned to me unfinished due to the work required. They are flawless.

The website has great before and after images.

Be patient as he is very busy and plan on spending a little more than other restoration providers, but it's worth it.

I had Duane Wells restore several YOM plates for me. He did a great job for a very reasonable price. His contact information is below. The last plate I had him restore was about 2 or 3 years ago and I assume he still does plates.

I also used Duane Wells on a pair of '31 Texas Commercial plates. Great job!

I'm looking for someone who can create a custom dealer license plate frame for my 64 Buick. I have the die cast dealer tag that was on the deck lid before repaint but it was removed and the holes filled. If I had a blank frame with enough room at the top and bottom I could attach the dealer tag to it. Does anyone know of someone who make the frames?
