CCPU firewall holes
Did the 28-29 closed cab pick up firewalls come with a hole for a vacuum wiper? I know the commercial vehicles were built with hand windshield wipers, and the intake manifold had no vacuum hole. Thanks Ed S.

Ed,
I believe that 28/29 pickups DID use only hand wipers, but the gas tanks were made with the vacuum hole and used on all vehicles in mid to late 29, including pickups. The hole was plugged with a steel or brass plug. I assume you are referring to the hole in the picture below. Rusty Nelson |
