Default accessary vent windows

was at a show today and looked at a coupe that had a very nice pair of add on vent windows. they looked new; i've never seen them before. does anyone know where they may be purchased? thanks

A&L sell brackets that are reproductions of an original accessory. I believe they attach to the car door with no drilling required to mount them. You would need to have glass cut locally for them, as they would fit many types of cars where different sizes of glass would be needed. Haven't seen them but they sound good and may get a pair for my Tudor at some point.

Are you talking wind wings as Stew is referring to or real vent windows.
Recently there was a thread about I believe 55 chev vent windows being practicly bolt in job, the regular windows have to be shortened. Also there was an article with pictures a month or so ago either in Street Rodder or Rod and Custom mag, this was on a 5W coupe.

the windows i saw were not made up from some other car parts; they fit this model a perfectly. the (probably) stainless brackets were held to the door both top and bottom with two screws and held the glass which contoured to the doors and the door glass very closely. the glass itself was frameless. sure wish i had a picture. a great addition to the car.
