Default 1950 Convertible Boot Top

I've looked everywhere in my Early V-8 Club book for the correct Boot Top color but I can't find it. The top is Grey-Tan and the current Boot Top matches the Sundland Beige exterior, but I'd prefer it to also be Grey-Tan for contrast. Lebaron Bonney did all upholstery work but that's not an option now. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If you have your current Boot Top to use as a pattern a good upholstery shop could get the material to make the color you want or
here are some options:

I’ll have to do some research on shops here but that is probably the best option…do the covers typically match the top?

My boot cover on my 49 is black like my top but choose what you think like best. I showed my car once and do not remember the judges asking about it.

I had always heard, that the boot covers were made from the same material as the tops. So when I had mine done that is what I did.

Peruse all this and you will find an answer regarding boot color. I think most boots are the same color as the interior so that it all matches when top is down.

Look here at the color of these tops.

I do have some extra material from the top but I’m not sure it is enough for a boot…matching the interior brown would be interesting too…the local NOVA club sent me a number of good upholsterer referrals

Thanks!
