Re: number of posts
Try logging out and then back in. That should reset any odd things that may be out of order.

Re: number of posts
When you google "clicked page won't load in firefox"
you get a number of responses. This one looks helpful: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...and-fix-errors Since you can't click it, copy and paste it. Or use my search terms above in your search engine of choice, and read several of the returned pages. |

Re: number of posts
Firefox has a troubleshooting mode. You might want to try that.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...ctlocale=en-US If you can't get that link to work, click the menu button in the upper left (the three dashes) click HELP then TROUBLESHOOT MODE. Good luck, and let us know if you solve the problem. btw, can you open links on other webpages? Ken

Re: number of posts
The weird thing about all this is that the problem is only happening on the Ford Barn site. I can click on links any where else and I have no problems. I hate computers. It didn't help turning off the ad blocker. I feel so helpless.

Re: number of posts
nkaminar, I have never tried another browser. I have had Firefox for many years. The trouble is only on the Ford Barn. It used to be fine but one day it just quit.

Re: number of posts
Foxfire made some changes recently that may be the source of the problem, or it could be something to do with the Barn web site. I am thinking as a detective, trying to pinpoint the guilty party. If the Barn site works OK with another browser than there MAY be something at issue with Foxfire, or the combination of the Barn software and Foxfire. If you get the same problem with another browser then you need to contact the site administrator for the Barn.
I like Firefox and use it exclusively except for the few sites that it does not work on. There are some sites that are tested only on other browsers and they don't conform to universal rules for web sites. It used to be that a lot of sites were developed on Windows computers using only Microsoft applications and would not work on other computers and with other browsers. Microsoft had their own standards that did not conform to the universal standards. Most of that has gone away now, but there are still some holdouts.

Re: number of posts
Rotor Wrench I would like to log out and back in but I don't remember my password. That's why I always stay logged in. I think I'll try it but if you don't see me on here again you'll know what happened.

Re: number of posts
I did sign out for about an hour or so and I got back in but it didn't help. I really do appreciate all the help and advice I am getting here though. I'm sure it will start working one of these days.

Re: number of posts
one at a time and see which one make the problem return. Sometimes updates for the extensions cause conflicts.
If you don't know how to do this let me know. Ken
