Default 34 Ford front fender tie

I would like to know the proper instllation of the front fender tie?, also air deflector at the bottom of the grill. I have heard that it goes on the top of fenders and also on the back side of fenders? Hope there is a 34 person out there that can help me with this. Thanks Stan

Maybe this old discussion will help answer your questions on the front end of your 34.

This one talks about location of the lower splash shield.

Thanks Zeke for the reply that realy helps , As far as the fender tie what I would like to know is. The fender tie cosist of two parts. One is cast and gets painted and mounts on top of front fenders. The other is stamped steel which goes on the back side of fenders. It is held in place with a bolt & nut that runs horazontel thru the fenders which is what ties the fenders together. my question is does the stamped steel part go in between fenders. or on the outside of the fenders? Thanks Stan

Trevor,

The fastener on the top was originally a slotted binding head screw, not a hex head screw (bolt), at least in the U.S.
