Default Worn balls on control/Pittman arms

City: East Lansing
State: MI

'29 Murray Town Sedan. All the balls on control and Pittman arms worn to an ellipse. Shy of finding original arms in great shape is it best to have new balls welded on original arms or purchase new reproduction control and Pittman arms? Control arms recently removed during a front end and brake system overhaul.

The best ones (OP) are the ones that have the ball part turned off leaving the shaft. The new ball is pressed on and plug welded. Snyders sells them. (A & L might be doing them for Snyders)

I have heard that A&L does work for most model A part houses. They do a great job, I have had several done by them. You can't tell they have been repaired once they are installed.

just bought them for my 26 from snyders. think they were around a buck a piece. Heres a shot of one.
i used an extra to put the smaller 1" ball on a F-5 arm mounted on my F-1 box to give me quicker steering on my 26 Lakester build. Front tires are 26" tall.
