Default I got the LAST Goodyear Tire!

I was installing my new tires today, the last one I unwrapped to install had a sticker “Last Tire”—so it must be the “last” one. Sorry everyone, I mounted it already so it is not for sale or bid. Hopefully you brought tires before I got the last one. 🤪

On a more serious note, I finally finished the restoration of my 19” accessory Motor Wheel wood wheels. My son helped me install them on the car this afternoon so we took it for a spin and shot this picture.

Great looking car. I must admit the wheels look odd to me. But, I think that is because I am used to the metal ones and that is what I expect to see. They are very nice though.

A match made in heaven...wood wheels on a woodie. I am not sure what I will do next time I need tires since you got the last one. Ha Ha

Inspired!
What a fine idea...

Would you be able to post a shot of those hubcaps?

Great fusion. Pre-A look, meets modern Hi-Tec fabrication, plus an incredible use of wood.

Another reason to drive a woodie.

Thanks!

31 Woody, Your back seat passenger looks a little under fed. His ribs are showing. Wood wheels on a woody, is a match made in heaven.

Is that you in the back? Must have been a really hard job installing that last tire to wear you that thin.

The guy in the back seat is the original owner. Was cheaper than burying him.

That’s a good one.! I too would like to see the hubcaps. Are they threaded?

That's OK since I got the 1st tire although not for an "A"...

If I could find a set of wheels like this, I'd have them on my pickup in a heartbeat!

@31Cabrio & Chuck - I will try to post some hubcap pics tomorrow. I am in need of good ones. They are threaded.
@TerryO - I think I would rather have the first one than the last one! Funny that you saved a picture too!
@CarlG - that set on that car is a bit out of my budget.

Love the wheels and your "A". The wheels give it a nice touch. Hope my Woody looks close to that some day...

I just thought it was strange and since I took a lot pics during the restoration I took these also. It had 2 "FIRST TIRE" stickers on it. I don't know what they signify.

I would guess they produce tires in batches. First in batch, last in batch. Neither one may be the “preferred” tire!

I got the other last white wall tire! Marked as you describe! And yes it's mounted and not for sale. but here's the interesting part. Originally I ordered only 4 tires, but realized later I should get another for the spare. So I ordered the fifth. And whaddya know! There was one available. But, in less than a year, all four original tires yellowed noticeably; while the fifth did not.
