Default Brake Drums

With all the talk about cast iron brake drums, do any of the vendors offer a replacement STEEL drum?

The cast iron drums are better. They are thicker and dissipate heat better. A steel drum (unless it was a different design) would be a step back.

A while back two NOS steel drums came up on eBay. $80 for the pair + shipping. I should have done it, but I didn't. Where would I find the other two NOS drums?..I probably wouldn't have found them. Cast iron IS better, but I sure do prefer NOS.
