How do you remove the clock hands on the 47-48 Ford clock. I'm experimenting with converting a clock to a battery powered clock and need to remove the hands from a junk clock. I don't want to damage the hands, but I tried to manually pull them off and they do not move.

Maybe stop by a clock repair shop and ask them. I would think they would do it for nothing
