Default Point spring tension gauge

Had a distributor on sun machine a few days ago and noticed I was dropping flashes just about at any rpn,,new bushing were installed awhile back everything looked good, but did not have tension gauge to check points, chart says 20-24 oz, I tweeted the point spring with flat long nose at the rivet connection, put back on machine and now have consent flash at all rpm,,
Read somewhere that duel points need to be around 30 oz,I know it will put more wear on point block but driving low miles per yr should not be a problem
Tension gauges can not be found anywhere so here’s what I come up with, works pretty slick ,,,you can use it to weigh fish also
