The Bowery Boys were the Bowery Old Men when they starred in Jalopy (1953). Incredible they were able to milk the franchise for that long. Plenty of palm trees in Bowery in this movie. The ads for the local Culver City, California, auto businesses can be seen on the track boards.

Many many Fords in this movie. Almost all on the track. Cringe worthy and/or fun to watch, it is important to remember that most of these cars would have been junked anyways had they not been in these races. All kinds of Fords, 1932 thru 1940 can be seen. Too many to list. The feature car is a 1937 Ford Tudor Humpback, raced by a local auto racing gambler.

There was a show recently on cable "The Making of The Mob in Chicago". A lot of nice Fords in the show but there timing was off. Quite a few Late 40s' Fords showed up in the middle 30s' part of the show.
