Default '35-'36 Transmission Mount

Does anyone sell the rubber isolator for a 48-5089 rear mount?
Or do you have to make your own?

Thanks.

Mac's and other aftermarket suppliers sell the rubber attached to the metal surround, NEW about $60. You then reuse the center retainer from the rear and the steel ring on the front. These two pieces are not attached to the rubber when new. You also reuse the 4 special head U-joint cover mounting bolts. At one time you could have new rubber molded to your old metal surround. I believe Vern Tardel offered this service about $100.

Have you considered installing a later model trans mount that has similar rubber as the front motor mounts?

Go with a '37-'40 mount and dish the '35-'36. You will be glad you did.
