Default 1930 deluxe delivery

1930 model a 130b deluxe delivery ,found in the woods of NY ,brought it home. Low numbers on this body style so I've been told. laid on its side so the drivers quarter got the worst of the decades of being outside was saved as much as possible the rest of it went back to mother nature, and rear door was not with it.

A rear door can be made from the center section of a tudor
However, the window revels are slightly different

I have one. It's my favorite tour car. They are heavy due to a large body with lots of wood. My engine is a modified B with oil pressure, a Thomas , 7-1 aluminum head, a Webber carburetor and more. The rest of the truck is stock. It's a great tour car, as it has lots of room for luggage, extra parts, tools, and things you might buy along the way.

That's a great save but.............WOW. I thought mine was rough. While it certainly IS a DD, the only DD specific parts I see is the right quarter panel and the header for above the rear door. Not much to work with. I hope you can save it. Keep us posted.

Since it appears to be missing the entire left 1/4 panel, I would consider restoring the entire right side and hang it on the shop wall. Paint it up with a sign of some sort on the panel complete with fenders, wheels, hood grill & headlight, and a tinted window in the door. However, I don't have the skill (or ambition) to make an entire 1/4 panel from scratch. If you can, That is great. The world needs more people with the skill and ambition to revive some of these treasures.

I just acquired a deluxe delivery body 130b. The rear door lower hinge is broke. Where can I find another one? Also the single door latch should be renewed. Where can I found one of these?

Thanks

Will
