Default Height of package tray

We are doing a ground-up restoration on an early 1930 Cabriolet. The project is just to restore a car that has been in the family for about 60 years, not to create point car. The bench seat that was in the car came out on a 1960 Falcon and all the supporting frame work underneath was homemade. Due the difference in height between my son and I, we will plan on installing an adjustable front seat. We are in hopes of using the 1931 seat design that has a saw-tooth adjuster. We are not sure if the package tray is going to create a problem with the movement of the seat? Was there a difference in the height and / or width of the package tray between a stationery and adjustable seat?
Would also would appreciate any photo showing the parts between the adjustable seat and the cross sills and sub-rails.
