Default 39 ford guage

Did ford make a electric water guage in 39, maybe a big truck, COE, thanks

Don't know about big trucks, but I'd think there wouldn't be two different gauge systems.

The COE used the same type temp gauge as the other vehicles, butI believe it differed in the length of the tube. It had a different part number than the pickup.

The hump (do you have a name?) the gauges you show are all electric. Why do you ask?

Interesting gauge cluster.1939 was the last year Ford used the mechanical water temp gauge for pass and commercial std & deluxe.

Almost looks like a "commercial" application, such as maybe a big, long Ford bus, where a mechanical capillary tube would have to be 50' long. DD
