Default Rainmaker Ron's Famous X-31

Rainmaker Ron had a very unique 31 Slant Deluxe. He acquired the car as a barn find in the mid 90's. This car was Ron's favorite ride. I always enjoyed my time with Ron. He loved to tell stories. Ron's car named the X-31 (he actually made the stamp for the plate!) It is now being well taken care of by one of his close friends to insure that it will not be hot-rodded and will be on some of tours this year!

The Rainmaker Lives on into the Model A future!

Thanks Ron for a great ride!

Okay, I'll go ahead and show my ignorance, what makes it a "slant?"

Slant windshields. Came out late 31. Available in Fordor, Victoria and Cabriolet. If looking for a Fordor the slant is very desirable as it has very little wood construction in it. Great cars. Jeff

Although I never had the honour of meeting Ron, I am convinced that his spirit will live on in his old ride. Drive carefully friends. Jeff

I liked the story when he bought a model a,got it running and drove it home. Trip took a few days. I guess that was 10 years ago.
