Snow Day in a Model A
It doesn't snow often here in middle tenn but it sure did today. Took the 30 roadster out for a spin and here are some pictures. It becomes obvious why Henry used fenders. It was a blast, but the clean up might take a while !

Can't embed YouTube on fordbarn. You can on the HAMB though. Looking forward to that upgrade here. Just have to put a link to the page.

That's not snow, that's skiff. Snow comes at least a foot thick. :-)

Re: Snow Day in a Model A
Hey, these pics are GREAT, but you guys down south don't know what snow is. Up here in New England we call that a "dusting", not even enough to be a nuisance. We will try to see how the A does in a couple feet of it, they have that nice high ground clearance. Chains might just be the ticket here.
Thanks for the photos, they are great fun! |

Re: Snow Day in a Model A
NoSurf,
My god man, don't let the Federal Dept. of Trans. see this video they will be after you. Where are the lap & shoulder belts, windshield, fenders, etc., etc. And was that a child being forceably dragged behind that monstrosity of an unoffically approved vehicle. Or was it an individual of smaller proporations who might be laughing??? Hasn't that been declared illegal yet........... In other words, "It sure do look like a lot of fun with an old "A". Bob-A |

Nosurf: I was recently telling my grandchildren how my Dad used to pull us behind his '37 Olds. Just as you are doing. Really cool stuff............
I'll show this video to the kids this evening - I'll be at their house for dinner. Gar Williams |

Re: Snow Day in a Model A
Cool stuff, and best of all is all the room and buildings you have. Sure beats living in the cramped burbs.

Curt, I should have stolen your car the other day, when I had the chance!!
Now you'll have to take it back to Paul's Guess I need to get the PU running (and stopping). Last edited by hotrodA; 01-11-2011 at 07:36 PM. |
