36 Fuel Pump
I'm going to install an electric fuel pump in my 36 Fordoor Humpback. I'm tired
of grinding my battery down to nothing every time I try to start her. She's my driver so I just want to get in, turn the ignition instant it up and go for a ride. So, I've noticed some people install the electric unit and set it up so they only use it to start the vehicle after it's been sitting for a while and some bypass the original pump all together. Any clear advantage to either method or is it strictly a matter of preference? Will appreciate any comments you all have concerning this issue as I'm ready to uncomplicate this part of my enjoyment of owning an early Ford. |
