Default Parts vendors

After playing with the Model A's for 40 years,I just don't know the vendors for the early V8 stuff.I do work on quite a few of them for customers, but they all bring me their own parts.I guess what I am looking for are the vendors that are the equivalent of Snyders,Brattons,Mikes,Berts Model A vendors but in the V8 world.

Hi Everyone. For the original old Ford stuff I've had excellent experience with Michael Driskell, here's his member page. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/member.php?u=7302 He also sells a lot through ebay, here's his page there. https://www.ebay.com/usr/1935fordtn?...p2047675.l2559

C&G is another vendor I've used with good results, nice website, easy. But you get repro stuff. https://cgfordparts.com/

Don't forget "Southside Obsolete", "barnfind08" here on the "Barn". He's a good source for NOS parts.

Sacramento ford does nice wire harnesses.
https://www.vintageford.com/

If you need other wires in bulk, you make up the ends. Little hotrodish site, but decent stuff.

Of course Bubba and Skip are fundamental.

Joe's is on the top of my list. I find his prices very reasonable and he won't sell you something you don't need.

I appreciate the parts vendors who participate on the forum here. Van Pelt, 3rd Gen, etc.

Seth nailed it with that solid list. Venders in general are only as good as the knowledge they can also pass along to the hobby with the parts they support.

Quoting Dick Spadaro "price is important, but experience counts more"

Joe has a spot @ the Fitchburg swap, come down he usually has his latest catalog available and always talking Flatheads.

This is a little different, cause mostly just 49-51 car stuff. I don't know if I've ever complimented Shoebox Central on here. Just got another box from them today; they ship instantly, never been out of stock on anything I've purchased from their website. Packaging is superb. Website is easy to negotiate. They seem to sell the same stuff others do, but operate in a most excellent fashion.......my experience.

I've got an 8ba in my '39 and ordered some ignition wires from Shoebox. Nice looking wire set and a good price. Unfortunately they never showed up. Turns out the wires were sourced from the Hoffman Group which if I had known I never would have placed the order. When it became apparent that the wires weren't coming Showbox immediately credited my credit card so I can't fault Shoebox but I did waste a couple of weeks waiting on wires that never showed up.
