Question Replacing side quarter glass help?

Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements)
I am having trouble with the rear quarter glass, I have a 29 Tudor sedan how do you get the glass in? I see the screws around sides of metal panel with the regulator mounting screws in the center is these the screws that come out? Also it looks to be rivited at bottom? Also I ordered a "kit" that has all the channels, seals etc. in it I have installed the door glass already but the kit came with a small rubber seal that goes around the back glass figured that out but there is enough to go around side glass also the way I see it the glass would only have to ride in the channels with the glass only in the felt channels like the door glass does or did I install the door glass wrong? Also is there any helpful hints on how to install front windshield glass in the frame I have the cork type gasket but it looks like it is going to be a tight fit. Sorry for all the pretty simple questions but the archive pages are not going yet and I am a newbie and I am trying to learn all I can as I make my "driver" thanks to everybody for taking there time helping me! So far it has been alot of fun putting this car back on the road! Thanks to the new Fordbarn it is great!!! Robert DeBord
