Help with rear brakes.
I have the front brakes done including cast iron drums and Flathead Ted floaters. The top of the rears are done, however, I can't make any sense of the instructions to do the lower drums. I have the Deluxe kit. Is there a good video or can someone help with a picture or drawing? Thanks, Tom |

I would stick the original A rear as it is a floating cam anyway . All brake springs attached as per original. Larry |

Flat head Ted does have a video out but I agree with Larry. Not needed in the rear.

Re: Fourthirty
The Twin Cities Model A Ford Club meets Thursday this week for a Tech clinic. There will be a number of gents there that have Ted's floaters installed. Three of them made a 30+ mile drive to help me with mine during setup. They brought a wealth of knowledge with them. Come to the Clinic and ask for help when the clinic lead "Dale" asks if anyone needs help with anything. The clinic is held at the Brooklyn Center High School and starts at 7:00 pm. Well worth the trip. I plan to attend and will put you in contact with the right group if you attend and ask for help.
Good Day! |
