21 stud?
Is the V-8 60 the only Ford motor with 21 studs and not 24 studs?

Re: 21 stud?
I believe V8-60 has 17 head studs.
21 stud engines were produced from 1932 through late 1938.

Re: 21 stud?
The V8-60 was physically smaller than it's larger counterparts, was only produced for about 4 years (???) and had 17 studs on the heads

Re: 21 stud?
I was a stud when I was 21, does that count? And yes, the V8-60 had 17 studs. I would like to have a V8-60 to "restore" for display only. They are a cute little engine.

Re: 21 stud?
I believe it was mid 38 when they switched the 221s to 24 stud.
