Vic, I was able to manage all of it: Girls, Real Cars, Model building, Girls and plus four years of Varsity Wrestling (and all the great social invites that come with being a Varsity Athlete) and I made it okay.

Tony, my hats off to you, I didn't participate in sports in High School, I worked at a grocery store after school and on Saturdays (at $1.00 per hr. minimum wage, I earned $28.00 a week) so I could afford to pay my dad back the $60.00 he loaned me to buy my '48 TuDor Sedan (I paid $100.00 for it), also to keep it running, put gas in it, and have enough money left over to take a date to a movie and maybe pick up a six pack on a Saturday night. At that time I was more interested in making some "front page Drive-In news"...

I made some progress on my 1/8th Scale 1932 Ford Roadster. I painted the frame rails and they turned out really good. Suspension pieces have been assembled and attached to the frame. It is starting to look like something.

This 1/8th Scale 1932 Ford Five Window Coupe, hand cast by the Late-Great George Zurowski, is a future project.

This 1/24 Scale 1937 Ford Tudor is also a future project. It came out of the box as a custom but I will use 1936 rims/tires/caps to make it a stock 1937.

A small collection of 1/25 Scale Flatheads.

This 1/8th Scale 1948 Ford Flathead engine, a real work of art, and also hand cast by George Zurowski, will go in the 5W Coupe (Full Fendered).
Yea, George had some killer stuff in resin. I have both of his 32 coupe bodies, the flathead and the Hemi with all the internals. Yes, internals. Cam, rods, rod caps, crank. I sure miss having him as a modeling friend.

I don't know if any are being produced presently. I bought my 5 window Coupe resin body some years ago. The guy who made mine is dead. All I can say is keep trying the internet. Since these pieces are hand made and are rare, I would imagine the prices will go up over time. Good luck.

I am in the process of building a 1/25 scale "41 coupe. I cut the front end off of the "41 woodie and am trying to mate it to the 47-48 coupe body. For the back end I'll just file off the 48 lights and glue on the '41 taillights.

Here's my '36 phaeton. This is an aftermarket resin body mated to a '36 AMT coupe as a donor to add the nose and chassis. I was surprised and pleased to run across the resin phaeton body. Photos with a cell phone, not too good.
