Just have to give a big THANKS to larry/Texas for reminding me of the idea about the guides his dad used. I bought 2 5/16 six inch long bolts that were threaded all the way & cut the heads off then cut them in 1/2 & screwed them into the block (2 on each side) I had forgotten about that trick. They worked fantastic as guides & I was able to get a couple of nuts on to help hold the pan in place. Thanks again Larry, much appreciated.
Boy when you get to this stage in life you need ,at least I do, all the reminders you can get.

Another tool is, ratchet hold straps.
