Default PickUps

What Rodney Dangerfield actually said: "Model A Pickups Don't Get No Respect."

Yes, but like Mary Ann in Gilligan's Island series...

They're cute!

MANY people come up to my truck, look in the cab and say "I don't remember them being THIS SMALL."

I was always surprised by The Waltons the way Jim-Bob, Dad and John-Boy could all fit three abreast into Dad's Model AA Truck.

The miracles of "dramatization?" And good set design.

Regularly cruised 3 abreast in my '29 cc back in 1980-86 in grad school. I'm 6'. Loved it. Cozy and very do-able. Especially when the person in the middle was a pretty girl.

Guys give their Model A's feminine names but it doesn't seem appropriate for a truck that was meant for work. On the other hand, in the current environment where more women are in the workforce, it may no longer be relevant.

I don't have a truck but I'm curious, if you name your truck what do you call it?

I named a double A truck that I had , uncle Albert and we called it uncle Albert . I haven't named my other AA yet but call it the George project because I got it from an older guy named George> I will probably name it George unless we decide on a different name when the truck is finished .

I named my old AA 1 1/2 Jed. It's stuck pretty well for 14 years.

I just bought a 30 closed cab. Previous owner named it Elliot. Guess that's gonna stay.

I call mine the small truck (1931) as opposed to my big truck (2016).

Find that I name any car I buy by the name of previous owner. My Pickup bought from Jerry Carbone.
So it's my 'Carbone' Pickup

That was back when touching someone wasn't sexual assault! Three couples at a drive-in movie in one car.

A vehicle with NO NAME, is like Apple Pie, with no melted cheese on it.
