Default 1947 clutch question

Is there such thing as an installed height for a pressure plate?. Like a reading from the top of the arm to the top of the pressure plate when it's installed with the clutch disc?. I want to double check before everything goes back in, I had an issue with mixing of parts before and the 3 arms where stuck down.
