Battery Cables for a 1948 flathead 6
Where do you find good quality battery cables for a 1948 flathead 6 cylinder. 6 volt system.
I believe there are 3 that need to be replaced. Vendors aren't very clear as to what gauge and size they sell. I would like some replies from people who have actually bought them and used them with good results. I also believe they should be 00 size, is that correct? Thanks. Use "O" ought or at least "OO" double ought. Try a semi truck parts/repair shop or maybe even a welding supplier, they will have the wire and you can supply the ends and have them sewage the ends on for you. Assuming 6V system??

I bought replacements from Rhode Island Wiring and have been very satisfied. They are the proper gauge and length with correct insulation and terminations.
