Default Looking For Machinist In San Diego Area

Anybody know a good machinist in the San Diego area for honing king pin bushings. Thanks, Phil Swanson

every engine re builder shop has a sunnen hone for doing wrist pins, should be hundreds of them in a city that size

Not so many around anymore. Looking for somebody that does allot of king pin honing.

i just googled it, and it showed 20 places. no such thing as a shop that does a lot of king pins because new cars dont have them. its fitting a pin to a bushing which is done on a sunnen hone on a regular basis at any shop, all 20 of those places i assume have the machine, and hopefully a guy that knows how to operate it. pick the closest one and call em up

It takes a few experiences with shops to find the shop you trust. First step is to visit it, then give them a project. If you find a good one, then they are your go to. They are around. Best of luck!
