41-48 Ford Rebuilt Steering Box

Steering box, as far as I know fits 41-48 Ford. Completely rebuilt by Lares Corp. and never installed. I bought from another Barner because I thought it fit my 47 Merc. I didn't realize the Mercs were longer than Fords so the shaft was a couple inches too short. Prior owner had bought it for his '40 Ford and had it rebuilt, not realizing 40 was different than 41-48.
I live in IL, but am currently in the KC area for a month and could deliver in that area. Could also bring it to the Lathrop MO swap meet this weekend. Can ship at your expense. $500 or reasonable offer. Send me a PM with your phone # and I'll call you back.
