Trick on a 57 Ranchero
The 57 Ranchero has a Trico wiper motor on it currently and it’s got issues. Can these be repaired? And suggestions what to do with it? Trying to keep this car original.

Re: Trick on a 57 Ranchero
The one you have runs on vacuum from the engine???
The internal seals dry out. Here's a photo from a 'not a Ranchero'. If you can get some brake fluid run thru the insides it helps rejuvenate the seals. At this link... https://www.ctci.org/improving-winds...iper-function/ There are rebuilding services available, approx $135 plus $200 core charge. Although this one may/may not be T-bird specific??? Call them and ask to confirm. https://www.classictbird.com/Wiper-M...uctinfo/17508/ Last edited by dmsfrr; 05-21-2020 at 06:40 PM. |

Re: Trick on a 57 Ranchero
Concours https://concoursparts.com/ in Carson City Nevada lists one. Sounds like its a rebuilt because it requires a $200.00 core charge.
