Default 64 Galaxie trunk baffle panel

Ford used a tar infused fiber panel to separate the trunk from the back seat that also served as a sound barrier. Well after 50+ years it became brittle and fell apart. What do you suggest to use for this separation panel Thanks. Rob

Go to an upholstery shop and get a panel board from them and make it to the original specs. May be lighter panel, but should work.

In my avatar that piece was missing completely. I made a new panel from 1/4" plywood and painted it. Works good for a non spec restored car.
