Default 1936 convertible firewall

Hi everyvone , i have a question about the convertible feet in the front of the firewall,thats bolts to the frame.would it be some shims between the feet and frame or shold it boults diretly to the frame ? Sorry for my bad Spelling

My 36 Cabriolet has no shims but I don’t think a shim here and there if needed
wouldn’t hurt anything. I had to use a few to align the body lines and doors.
80 year old cars my need some tweaking now and then.
