Check various Ford knob colors in some parts catalogs. Your heater switch looks "reddish-brown". If so, it would be for a '40 Deluxe. Dan

Definitely not 40 Ford. The correct 40 Ford heater knob is nothing like the one pictured.

The first 4 photos show the 1940 DeLuxe Ford car heater switch. THE SILVER BUTTON under the dash is my hidden starter switch. The original button is not hooked up. The other photos are of a later vehicle heater switch. Not sure what year. Click on photo to enlarge'

The one I have is definatley like the second one. Not sure what box it ended up in when I sorted things last year. I have the mounting bracket also. Rod
