32 Oil pan breathing
what are the implications of not having the road draft tube on a aluminium 32 pan? Excessive oil changes? I expect it would probably cause more moisture, and maybe a few more contaminants, but that can be fixed by frequent oil changes I would imagine. There is still going to be a breather up top, so I cant see it causing a pressure build up????
Is there anything that can be done, besides installing a PVC? The only thing I like less than nasty fumes in the crankcase is ingesting them into the rest of the motor as well. Thanks Beech |

Re: 32 Oil pan breathing
There is no need for a pan vent, as long as you vent the block thru the oil fill tube the engine will air out just fine.
