Default Oil hole on the back of the block

Is the oil hole on the back of a V8 block 1/8 NPT Thread????

the two ports for the sending unit, and the filter line are 1/4" npt, if thats what you are lookin for

I think iy 3/8 NPT? but my memory is not very good these days.

"The" oil gallery plug should be 1/4 pipe.

Yyyeessss, exactly what I was looking for!!! THANK YOU....now I can get every thing I need before I start so I don't have to stop and run to the parts store in the middle of the job!!!!!! Only thing is "mine" only has one, not two.....the oil sender AND the oil filter line are coming out of ONE brass tee block on the back of the block!!! SO now I have to figure how to get my mechanical gauge into the loop!!!

Exactly what I was looking for...Thanks V8Coupeman.....AND there IS two holes......I just couldn't see under the sender and with all the "grime" on the back of the engine. Thanks again ALL for your help!!!

You can tee into line at oil filter inlet for mech. Gauge, much more accessible.

Yes, saw that this morning!!! Thanks. I actually got a 3 way one, a male end for the block and two females, one for the mechanical gauge and one for the oil filter line!!!
