Default Early Sediment Bowl

I had a bunch of problems trying to to ask this on the MTFCA website so I will ask it here. Ihave had this for several years. I removed it from a round gas tank that was pretty much ruined. I assumed it was Model T. Looking at Bruces book it says they were brass. So whats the deal with this identical on made of cast? The tank was not Fordson so I am lost on what the story of this is. Thanks Rod

1911 tank and yes the bulb was cast of iron. The screw in ones were of brass for a few years before they too went to iron.

That would be cool. I have a freind restoring a 1912 touring. I do not know what he has as far as the fuel system. I owe him some parts anyway as he gave me an origianl mirror bracket for my 29 delivery. Rod
