V 60 shifter
Is there a difference between the V60 shifter and the 48,78 case shifter?

Re: V 60 shifter
it depends on year and chassis, truck 4 speed should be same, 1940 with large trans --same, 37-39 passenger --different

Kurt....It seems (to me) that he's referencing the shifter assembly for a V8-60 (60 horse) trans case vs the full size transmission cases. DD |

Re: V 60 shifter
V8 COOPMAN , yes I have a shifter that looks like a shifter for the standard transmission but every thing from the pivot ball down is shorter. Jim. T.

Re: V 60 shifter
while i am no expert, i have some 60 stuff, and was always under the the impression that there is the plain 60 trans that is noticeably smaller and uses all special components, and the commercial 3 spd trans which has the 60 bell and otherwise uses all standard 78 case parts
