Default Update/ Hidden Bolt on water pump

This is to update you all on my project with my cooling system. Many of you offered advise on this and I wanted to show you that I was able to get it set right. After some effort I was able to replace the pumps. I flushed the block a few times and installed new thermostats. I chose to have my old radiator re-cored and it could not have turned out any better. All thats left is to put the grille shell, hood and bumper back on. I'm going to wait a day or two as we are getting a storm rolling through here in Calif. Thanks to all who offered their help, it's appreciated

I used a lot of heat and a piece of stainless sq. stock with a lg. ball peen hammer to crack them loose. Then had to use an extractor socket to turn it out. RH one twisted off at the head of the bolt but the LH came out in one piece. More heat directly to area with a couple of taps with the hammer and it started to move. All good now. Have run the motor a few times and now runs at a steady 180, no leaks. I'm happy.
