Default 1932-1934 pickup window channel installation questions

I'm working on a 33 pickup. I'm trying to put in new rubber window channels. they are stiff rubber with metal in them and felt. They are about 3ft long and a groove in them for the door glass.

I believe they are from vintique.

At each end is a metal hook and other end a flat metal tab. Which end goes on top and which end goes on the bottom?

They are also 1/4" to 1/2" too short in length. Do they stretch or have to glue them in place since they are short?

There are also Lower Cushion Bumpers and Door and Garnish Molding Bumpers. Where and how are they attached

Thank you

Hi, the hook end is the top. I had to bend the hook out at right angles to the channel then insert the bottom end into the hole & pull the channel up. then bend the hook over at the top. Mine were vintique & fitted good.
There should be a bracket riveted to the inside door panel at the bottom of the access hole that the bumper goes into. It goes at right angles to the glass.
The little bumpers go into a slot in the door were the glass rises through on the inside edge.
Not all the pickup doors have the slot for them.
Phil.
