Default There's no better

Anyone that's been on the Barn for more than a week has probably heard about Charlie NY. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Hershey and then had him rebuild my dual edelbrok 94s. The carbs were returned within a week. Questions were always answered promptly and workmanship - well - Outstanding..... Anyone wanting their carbs or for that matter (bullet proof) fuel pumps - don't think just send to Charlie.....

They say a picture tells a thousand words. So I won't go on and on....

Completely agree. Charlie hasn't done a lot of work for me but I'm very satisfied with what he has done.

Charlie is a stand up guy, he does beautiful work and stands behind his work. He also provides support with answers to questions, etc. He has done several carbs for me, in particular the '39 LZ and I've had nothing but good solid performance from each one he has done.

Charlie rebuilt a pair of 91-99s for my 1940 to go on my new 2X2 intake. They looked like new, but was a little dismayed that the car would bog badly when the throttles were opened. Turned out the problem was the brand new POS condenser. Once that was replaced with the Napa IH200 version, the car runs wonderfully, from idle to WOT. Also, the linkage that he made for the 2X2 setup works seamlessly.

Not long after getting the carburetors back, my fuel pump gave up. After a post here on a Sunday night looking for some advice, Charlie let me know that he makes his own diaphragms for these, which won't fail like the three month old one did. One of his fuel pumps shows up on my front porch in Texas two days later. Fantastic customer service AND quality of workmanship that is second to none.

I have the pleasure of being in the same chapter of the Early Ford V-8 club as Charlie and get to talk with him at least a couple of times a year. Just a great person and always willing to share info.

I'll bring this back to the top, because I just received my converted Mallory, vacuum advance SBC distributor from Charley. It looks beautiful, and best of all, it has the proper flange to allow it to be mounted on my stock flathead, without the funky set screw deal that others offer.

The best thing about it is that he turned it around in three weeks. So some of you that have been considering getting these done someplace else, Charley is able to get them back in a reasonable time.

Thanks, Charlie!

Same here. Met Charlie at Hershey. Sent me a re-bushed 94 base, which solved a problem, and rebuilt 2 97s for me. Excellent workmanship and support.

Charlie is my go-to man.
He has done a lot of work for me. He is always fair, honest, easy to talk to and his work is superb. He is about to do a Stromberg 97 rebuild, a fuel pump build and a starter for me. Need I say more.
I give him my highest recommendation. Thank you Charlie.
