Default original hand crank

the end of the hand crank on my 31 coupe has a cast in lug to engage the starter slots in crank pully nut...is this correct??? OR does it supposed to have a hard pin drilled in shaft and insalled.....this is for original car..thanks for help...kev

Mine has a cross pin in it. All I've seen are similar with the pin. Even my 31 coupe had one. But that doesn't mean much after all these years, what will count for you is does it match the Judging Standards tool section. That is where I would look for my answer.

Cast in is correct! Let me edit that statement as it implies that the the handle was cast in a mold. I should have taken more time and at least said they not drilled and a pin placed in the hole. Thanks MikeK

None of the crank cross-pins were cast.
Like the lug nut socket on the opposite end,
they were upset hot forged into the bar stock.

you guys are good...i knew theywere not cast, just didnt know process...i have the correct for my car handcrank....thanks a lot ///judges std. dont tell a lot about this.....kev
