Default Single Repro Parts Sold on E-Bay

what gives with all the assorted repro parts advertised singly on E-Bay? The ads usually don't state the seller on the first page but I assume the identity appears after that.

some are odd listings, I recently saw an ad for the Electrolock id disc and I doubt many of us have original Electrolocks.

Surely most owners know there are parts dealers and have been for many years. Some of us even remember when Sers sold some parts. Why would any owner buy such parts off of E-Bay?

Can you give us a link example? I see vendors (Macs) listings all the time, as a matter of fact the electrolock data plate has "macs-auto-parts" as the vendor.

I view Ebay as a revolving catalog of stuff. For those who sell for a living, it is just another way to get stuff they have (repro or used) easily searchable by prospective buyers. I have actually found some items on ebay that also appear in other sales sites, hence the sellers belief, of "it pays to advertise" And ebay does allow an item to show as a single item but allows qty purchase.
