3 things I learned today
#1 = 30 year old 600x16 tires do not grip as well in the snow as 30 year old 425x21 tires
#2 = even the slightest of hills is not climbable with said tires and 4 inches of snow #3 = my kids will have a ball riding in the A even if we are just driving back and forth for 45 minutes |

Re: 3 things I learned today
I just priced out old militray tires for mine last night. They are roughly $30-50 cheaper than standards and are gonna look awesome. Sadly no whitewall, unless i paint them on!

#5 Kids are thrilled when their dad spends fun time with them, the activity itself is secondary.

#6. "Treat your children like they were your best friends ...... and they will remain your friends forever."
#7. "If you do not raise your kids ....... somebody else will." #8. "Young children don't remember childhood gifts as well as they remember the quality fun time spent with their parents." |

Re: 3 things I learned today
Remember hearing this one on an early morning radio show while the radio host was interviewing a senior judge who had been dealing with juveniles in court for about 40 years.
The senior judge was stressing the need for parents to give "quality" tme to their children. The judge reported that in court he always had one (1) question that he asked the father of a child drug user, i.e., "Did you ever take your son fishing?" Next, the following is a quote from this wise judge to the radio host: #10 "In forty (40) years of hearing cases with juveniles, I never came across a teenage drug user who was his Dad's favorite fishing buddy." Jkeesy should be highly commended for sharing his Model A lesson with parents & grandparents. Thanks! |
