Default 35-37 pickup mirrors

Has anyone found a good solution for a windshield area rear view mirror. Also a good solution for the outside mirrors that do not stick out so far like the original mirrors. Possible some type of convex mirror?

I recall that I used a rear view mirror from Joe's Antique Auto and installed it above the windshield. There were dimples in the correct places for holes for the screws so a mirror must have been an option back then. This is on my 37 pickup. I bought the stock truck mirror for the right side and added a small convex mirror to help with a wider view. On my 40 sedan I exchanged the flat mirror heads for the convex ones sold by the vendors and once used to the view they are helpful. The mirror from Joe's is part number 11-17682-SS.

I have an inside mirror from a 46-48 Ford passenger car in my truck. Looks and works great.

Exact same here for our '36PU. Had the dimples in the header to drill out for the screws. I also bought a rearview mirror from Joe's probably hardware too. It's been 15 years ago I can't recall now for sure

I'm running pass car mirrors on my pickup. I believe that they don't stick out as far as the straight commercial mirrors do.

Thanx Jeff. Been idle for some time ( the pickup and myself). Working on making it roadworthy again. Both have some squeaky joints! LOL
