Where can I get some round wire staples for fender welt

I don't know if they are the same, but CASCO the Tbird parts supplier has them. If you have an original, you can make your own - get some stainless wire

Safety wire for aviation and marine use is available from Aircraft Spruce & other suppliers. It is available in .020". .025", .032", .041", & .051" thicknesses and is annealed corrosion resistant steel so it is relatively easy to form.
