Agreed. I've always been a rustoleum fan but sometimes waiting a day for parts to dry is really inconvenient. I don't know if this will wind up being as durable, but it sure works nice when you don't have all day to get something painted and installed.

I'm another 2X fan...but I put some work into the prep: After stripping and sanding, I shoot the parts with SEM metal etching primer, followed by SEM filler primer. (SEM does not recommend shooting paint directly onto the etching primer). I then finish off with a couple of coats of Rustoleum 2X satin black. It's some effort, but it's durable and looks good.


Just a note: you can also shoot rattle can lacquer over the two SEM primers (be sure to sand the filler primer smooth before shooting the lacquer) then you can cut and buff the lacquer for a nice gloss finish.
