Default Bruce Lancaster's Memorial Service

Bruce's daughter recently posted this on FaceBook:

There are two opportunities this week to remember and honor the legacy of our friend, alumnus, and colleague, Bruce Lancaster.
The first opportunity is an on-campus memorial event on Wednesday Dec 4th from 4:00-7:00PM. Please join Library faculty, staff, and alums as we gather informally at Drew’s Pub in the tradition of an Irish wake to celebrate and acknowledge Bruce’s long and meaningful connection to Drew University. Please bring your favorite Bruce memory to share.
Date: Wed Dec 4th 2019
Time: 4:00-7:00PM (Sharing remembrances will begin @6PM)
Place: The Pub, Ehinger Center, Drew University, Madison, NJ.
Details: If you like, plan to bring food to share and $$ for a cash bar. Attendees 21&over only please.
Please go HERE to read a little about Bruce’s remarkable life in “Shelf Life: Bruce Lancaster’s bookshelves offer a window into his—and Drew’s—history.” You may find more information about Bruce in his obituary HERE. (OOPS! I don't think the link works)
The second opportunity to gather and remember Bruce is on Saturday Dec 7th at 11AM in Millburn NJ. Bruce’s family has extended an invitation to members of the Drew community to join them for a Memorial Service in his honor at First Baptist Church-Millburn. The family will be welcoming Bruce’s friends beginning at 10AM.
