Default Model A Shock ballbearing

Hey Guys, I lost the ball bearing that goes in one of the non-movable
vanes of the shock absorber. To be honest, I didn`t know it was there until
I read an article on how to rebuild the Model A shocks. Does anyone know
what dia. I would need to replace it? Is this something I could pick up locally at a hardware store? Thank you.

Bicycle shops used to stock small ball bearings. I would guess they still do especially if they sale skate boards, if you need really small ones.

Bratton's has the bearings in their rebuild kit, perhaps they could send you one to replace the one you lost.
