Default Understanding the change from the 170-A to the 170-B

This pertains to the understanding of the 1929 170-A to the 1930 170-B Standard 2-Window Fordor Sedans.

Is the BODY only on the 1929 170-A 2-Window Fordor Sedan the same BODY as that of the 170-B 2-Window Fordor Sedan excluding the change in front and rear fenders, splash aprons, running boards, hood and grill?

Or was the 170-B body a new and revised/updated body going into 1930?

One source tells me the following:"Production of the 1929 Model A (standard) Fordor Sedan (170-A) continued into 1930 (as 170-B Standard) and, in May 1930 received an upgrade interior and cowl lights (170-B De luxe)".

Is this statement missleading or what?

Thanks.

Pluck

I can't really tell you but didn't the fuel tank change? I'm not sure how long Ford continued production of the early tank. The contractors may have used the older type up but I don't know.
